My professional career currently spans over 26 years.

I began humbly. I worked for my father before landing corporate reception roles. During those early years, I mastered the invaluable method of genuine customer service and interpersonal communication. A short, yet meaningfully-long four years later, marketing, advertising, public relations, and strategic business management, were simultaneously thrust into my world; while in the roles of PA, Executive Assistant, and Marketing Assistant. In the 16 years that followed, I rose to the challenge of becoming self-employed as a Business & Marketing Consultant. As a consultant, I initially contracted solely to a small but dynamic boutique marketing firm (for three years) and then branched out to build and work with my own rewarding portfolio of small business clientele.

Year-on-year, I honed my verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and developed a deep recognition for the artistry of words. My abilities set me apart and afforded me exciting opportunities. I am very proud of the resume and portfolio I have built. I am appreciative to have worked with many infectiously talented people, for impressive companies (both large & small), in a wide range of industries.

You could say I was comfortable, and my life was comfortable too. Yet, as life would have it, as soon as comfort sets in, change presses in too. Unfortunately for me, that change was dismantling, in the form of a car accident in 2018. The accident disfigured my life. It forced me to reevaluate all I knew and my career direction. In answer, I reinvented myself. After serious searching, I enrolled in full-time study to become a Professional Writer and Editor. With immense pride, I am before you today with my power bank of experience and qualification in unifying grasp, knowing I am exactly what I was always meant to be - a dedicated creative copywriter!

All that said, personally and professionally, I am an old-fashioned woman at heart. I respect tradition and adore time-honoured skills and crafts which underpin life. My core beliefs and principles are built on love, faith, hope, and ethics. My creative side is bold, firmly forward-thinking, and evolving with our modern world. With each side of me balanced by the other, I know I have a strong and unique mindset to offer. I feel authentically coloured by my multi-cultural origins, personal experience, and a natural inclination for deep connection.
